1What is the body of work ?

6/8 paintings

mixture of sizes 60cmx 40cm , 60cm x50 cm

some with portrait orientation , oil on board with coloured grounds

time frame 4 weeks

2 What is the concept ?

Im exploring man made structures in the landscape on the beach .

The key concepts are to paint different orientation of the structures .(ie close ,at a distance ,on an angle )

The subject matter is beach boxes , jetties , staircases and railings .

I am grouping these particular works together as they all refer to the same area of coast where these structures have been built.

The work is exploring painting the structures
