Proposal for Term 3

I would like to explore further my interest in connections to the land, I have found en plein air painting to be very important in my practice, enabling a sense of freedom of expression and the sense of being 'within' nature. I have already explored line and negative space in my work and would now like to use the concept of colour as form, which I think is probably already integral to my work but I would like to use a different process. I am keen to experiment with monotype, collage and printing as a way of expanding my art practice. I already use these methods, but not in a considered or coordinated manner. This will be work on paper and will comprise at least four studies. I have the idea that they may form a continuum or panorama and perhaps move from daylight to night.
